Win an icon of adventure riding – Lyndon Poskitt bike giveaway
In support of his new book, Races to Places – The Ultimate Overland Story, Lyndon Poskitt is giving away the hand-built LPR 732 Factory Adventure Bike, a super-rare chance to own a bike with the same specification as the one he rode around the world.
To celebrate the launch of his long-awaited book, Poskitt is giving away the very first factory rally adventure bike he built. A hand-built machine that laid the groundwork for the legendary “Basil Bike”, on which he rode over 146,000 miles, travelled to 74 countries, and competed in a rally on every continent.
The bike, built around a 690 KTM but upgraded in almost every engine and chassis department including the LPR 732 motor, has been refreshed and updated to the same specification as Basil Bike. It has also been given a new set of graphics in nardo grey and a unique design to celebrate Lyndon’s book.
Lyndon raced Merzouga Rally on this bike in 2013 and did some small adventures to tweak and change the specifications to perfection before his world trip.

This isn’t just a giveaway, it is your chance to own a part of the Races to Places story, and win your very own extremely capable and versatile rally bike that became a global icon of adventure and endurance.

It’s a bike Lyndon has hand-built himself and also replicated for customers around the world. The Ultimate Adventure Bike rolls out the Poskitt workshop for between 30 and 60K, depending on specification, so the £10 investment for this competition will be a hell of a return for one lucky winner.
