The current agreement between ABC and the FIM for the promotion of the FIM Enduro World Championships and World Cups will come to an end at the close of the 2020 season.

Enduro is the most historic discipline of the FIM, which began in 1913, many years later it remains a discipline much appreciated by both amateurs and professionals of off-road competition.

The FIM will promote the 2021 FIM Enduro World Championships & World Cups and will soon launch a tender to find a new promoter from 2022. ABC has been the championship promoter since 2004 and will continue to promote the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship until 2024.

Bastien Blanchard, CEO ABC Communications: “It is with sadness but with rationality that we had to make the decision to not renew our agreement as promoter of the FIM Enduro World Championships & World Cups at the end of the 2020 season and to decline the proposal of the FIM for 2021. ABC Communication has been linked to Enduro since 2004 and has had a great adventure inside this sport for many years. We were proud to bring our enthusiasm as well as our experience and professionalism to this passionate sport thanks to an exceptional team who have always given the best of themselves. We want to thank the FIM for its trust for more than 15 years. Enduro still has some great seasons ahead of it, despite the current health situation and the resulting uncertainties. We remain more motivated than ever to continue working as the promoter of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, certainly until 2024!"

Jorge Viegas, FIM President: “We warmly thank ABC Communications for its involvement as promoter of the FIM Enduro World Championships & World Cups since 2004. ABC has made a significant contribution to changing enduro from an amateur sport to a more professional one. The FIM and ABC will continue their collaboration in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship at least until 2024. The FIM will soon launch a tender to find a new promoter for the FIM Enduro World Championships & World Cups from 2022 and will take care of this historic Enduro championship in 2021.”
