MY22 Husqvarna and GASGAS Enduro bikes recalled
Husqvarna and GASGAS model year 2022 Enduro models have been recalled for a “small issue” with their front brake pad retaining pins.
All EC model GASGAS and TE/FE Husqvarna models from the respective 2022 enduro ranges need to visit an authorised dealer due to a “small issue” with their front brake calipers. The issue is said to be with the brake pad retaining pins, not likely on all bikes and is a simple fix.
Husqvarna put it like this: “A possible deviation relating to the fitment of the locking split pins mounted to the holding bracket may result in the brake pads becoming detached from the machine.”
Both manufacturers say it is “highly likely that not all models are affected” but owners are advised to contact a dealer to check – if you bought a 2022 models from an official dealer you will also have been/will be contacted personally by the manufacturer.
