Leading manufacturer of premium, innovative sporting goods (and goggles of course), SCOTT, have announced the appointment of Juwon Kim and Pascal Ducrot as co-CEOs, as well as the appointment of its Executive Leadership Team.
The expanded Executive Leadership team comprises of Baris Alev (Chief Financial Officer), Adrian Zahnd (Chief Commercial Officer), Reto Aeschbacher (Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Digital Officer) and Holger Klinter and Claudio Benelli (co-Chief Operating Officers). For more than 65 years, SCOTT has been dedicated to products and performance at the highest levels of sports and is today a leading brand within the sporting goods sector. The new Leadership Team will lead a transition plan, which is committed to focusing on SCOTT’s core business, while honouring its unique passion and culture, working together to stabilise the company following a turbulent period for the sporting goods industry.
At more than 80% of the company’s revenue, the bike business will become the central priority, where SCOTT will increase its investment into the development of world-class products according to its values of Innovation, Technology and Design, while targeting growth markets including E-Bikes and Urban mobility.
SCOTT will also place additional focus for the future on its apparel and footwear competencies, together with Dolomite, as a significant revenue driver and continue to develop its well-loved products for Bike, Running, Winter and Outdoor. The Leadership Team will continue to be proactively engaged in evaluating and growing SCOTT’s current operations, and in supporting the move into the next chapter for SCOTT.
