New all-season adventure riding and dual-sport jacket from Acerbis, the X-Travel 2.0 is designed for different climates without compromising on protection, comfort, and functionality.

We’ve all been there on a trail or adventure ride: you set off at early in the cold and reach the top of the morning in sunshine and quite different conditions. This is a riding life of course and for any journey on trail or adventure bikes we must go through microclimates, sudden changes of conditions, speeds, technical riding and those all-important stops for gas, coffee or chin-wagging.

Acerbis say the X-Travel 2.0 is designed for those who want their gear to adjust to them and is “more than just a jacket, it is a modular system that adapts to the weather, your luggage, and the rhythm of your trip.”

Versatile in different weather

The X- Travel 2.0 combines durable materials with practical solutions for three seasons of use (spring, fall, and mild winter). When the temperature drops, the removable 80-gram thermal padding comes into play; if rain surprises you along the way, the jacket is designed to accommodate the long waterproof and breathable 5K/5K membrane (optional) to be worn under the jacket, replacing the padding. On hotter days, two large front vents and two rear zippered vents ensure constant airflow to keep you cool and focused on riding.

The outer fabric is made of water-repellent 450D polyester, with 600D RIPSTOP inserts, while the interior features a mesh lining and a soft microfleece collar for comfort.

Practicality

Seven pockets – three waterproof and taped external pockets and four internal pockets, two of which are located directly in the removable padding – allow you to organise you for your trip.

The long cut offers greater coverage and stability in the saddle, without sacrificing the freedom of movement necessary for those who alternate between highway and off-road riding.

Protection

The X-Travel 2.0 is CE EN 17092-3:2020 certified in class AA and incorporates shoulder and elbow protectors, approved to EN 1621-1:2012 level 1.

It is also designed to accommodate an EN 1621-2:2014 level 2 certified back protector, compatible with Safe Tech or D3O models (sold separately).

The above allows you to customise protection according to your riding.

This gear set adds to the range from Acerbis which include Rally Race, Rally Mesh (for off-road/rally racing) and the Rally Pro adventure range, plus the Enduro and X-Duro lightweight riding clothing.
