Stark Varg given ‘highly requested’ new traction control system FOC
Stark Future have rolled out traction control free of charge for all Varg Alpha customers via an automatic over the air update – though owners of the standard 59bhp Varg miss out on the addition.
No hardware add-ons, or even plugging the bike in is required, instead, accessing the new feature simply requires a software tweak performed wirelessly, direct to the bike, without so much as the need to set foot (or wheel) into a dealership. As with competitor TC systems, the new Varg slip control should be FIM compliant in the absence of a physical wheel speed sensor.
The upgrade applies to the full range of Alphas-spec Varg machines, including the EX, MX, and SM models, in a move which the Barcelona brand say is both ‘highly requested’ and expected to offer customers ‘more performance, more of the time.’
The newly added system can be adjusted independently within each power mode, allowing users to dial in more or less intervention to suit conditions and riding ability.
