Billy Bolt and Brad Freeman will race each other at the opening round of the 2023 British Extreme Super Series, the Eddy’s Xtreme on January 14.

A new direction, new format, and new venues the Fast Eddy events team tell us as the British Extreme Super Series gets underway on January 14. The hot news is the current reigning E3 Enduro World Champion, Brad Freeman, and SuperEnduro World Champion, Billy Bolt, will go head-to-head in this new UK race series.

It’ll be a rare treat for anyone who can get to Fat Cat Moto Park on January 14 with the SuperEnduro, EnduroGP and Hard/Extreme enduro cream of the crop coming together.

Fast Eddy Events, promotors of Eddy’s Xtreme are talking about this new style event which they moved onto after successfully running the more traditional British Extreme Championship for a number of years.

The first port of call for this newest British series is at Fat Cat Moto Parc where they promise a completely new style and format event to start the series.

Fast Eddy himself, Paul Edmondson says the event will mix all disciplines together, extreme, super and traditional enduro all thrown into the mix. “The idea is to give the spectators and riders something new, fresh and racy which will be very visible at the Fat Cat facility.” There’s even an SX track thrown in for good measure.

The Fast Eddy race day as ever welcomes all riders, not just the top boys, and will see different classes get two, one-hour events each with both sets of results used to determine the overall winners on the day.

Along with Bolt and Freeman another newly crowned World Enduro Champion Harry Edmondson will join the fun, along with his brother Jack, Jamie McCanney, and many more top British riders.

This first round of the new series will have former Erzbergrodeo finisher Martin Craven in charge of the largely sandy Fat Cat Venue which takes place on Saturday January 14.
