2025 Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro win for Will Riordan
15th annual Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro see Sherco Australia “import” Will Riordan back home for the victory ahead of new Australian Hard Enduro Champion, Wade Ibrahim.
Held in northwest Melbourn, the Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro is known as Australia’s most extreme single-day hard enduro event and the 2025 proved no exception with mother nature throwing torrential rain at the venue to transform the notoriously dry and dusty course into a muddy battleground.
Sherco Australia welcomed home hard enduro export, Will Riordon, fresh from an outstanding 2025 which has included second place in the US Hard Enduro Premier Championship and top 10 at the Erzbergrodeo.
Riordan and Ibrahim only two finishers
The 2025 Wildwood event saw 134 senior competitors tackle the treacherous terrain, with conditions pushing riders.
In the premier Gold Class prologue, Riordon wasted no time in making his intentions clear, setting the fastest lap time, narrowly edging out newly crowned Australian Hard Enduro Champion Wade Ibrahim.
When the gate dropped for the main race, Riordon and Ibrahim broke away from the pack, trading positions in a battle for the win.
The relentless rain slowed lap times dramatically, with the usual 30-minute circuits stretching beyond an hour.
In the end, Riordon and Ibrahim were the only two riders to complete three full laps in what proved to be one of the gnarliest Wildwood events on record with Riordan in the end taking victory ahead of Ibrahim and Ruben Chadwick third.
