After a year off due to the pandemic, one of the biggest enduro races in Spain, the Bassella Race (BR1), is back on February 11 – 13, 2022.

The annual pilgrimage to Northern Spain for Bassella Race 1 is a traditional start to the year for many riders. The hugely popular event mixes different enduro disciplines and attracts riders of mixed abilities which makes it an event with something for everyone – including this year even an Adventure bike class.

Held on February 11-13, BR1 will kick off with a lap for the Fan and Trail class riders who can get a feel for the course without the pressure of a race. It’s 100% off road and for 2022 will be adapted for the big adventure bikes.

The weekend race programme includes Kids, Classic and Xtreme races with the main event on Sunday having attracted riders like Jonny Walker, David Knight, Christophe Nambotin, Taddy Blazusiak plus a long list of Spanish stars including Josep Garcia in recent years to the mass start races.

Mark December 1 in your calendar for getting entries in, they tend to fill up fast, especially in the Friends class.
