The FIM has released the provisional calendar for the 2021 Enduro World Championship. After a troubled 2020 season, next year looks set for a wider spread across Europe with a more traditional feel to it which includes heading back up north to Estonia and Sweden, a stop-over in Zschopau, Germany before a conclusion in France during October.

The start date in June appears to show caution as the sporting world still strives to accommodate the effects of Coronavirus. The distance between some of the venues will also mean plenty of kilometres clocked for riders and teams. Valpacos to Edolo is close to 2000km for the opening back-to-back weekends with rounds five and six 1200km apart.

2021 provisional EnduroGP calendar:

The Enduro World Championship will come under the wing of the FIM in 2021, moving away from the long-standing promoters of the series, ABC (who remain at the helm of the SuperEnduro World Championship).

Categories and capacities, eligibility and age limits remain the same:

Seniors

Enduro 1 (E1): Up to 250cc 2 stroke and 4 stroke

Enduro 2 (E2): 250+ cc 4 stroke up to 450cc 4 stroke

Enduro 3 (E3): 250+ cc 2 stroke and 450+ cc 4 stroke

EnduroGP (EGP): Rankings based on overall standings (E1-E2-E3)

Junior 1 and Junior 2 categories (Age limit 23 years)

FIM Enduro Junior 1 World Cup (J1): Up to 250 cc 2 stroke and 4 stroke

FIM Enduro Junior 2 World Cup (J2): 250+ cc 2 stroke and 4 stroke The final rankings will take into account all results in Junior 1 and Junior 2.

The FIM Junior Enduro World Champion will be decided based on the overall rankings of the Junior 1 and Junior 2 categories.

Youth

Age limit 21 years.

The final rankings will take into account all results.

Women

Calendar will be announced soon.

Enduro Open (EO)

Enduro Open 2 stroke (O2)

Enduro Open 4 stroke (O4)

Enduro Open Senior (OS) - (40 years old at January 1)  

Club Teams of three riders

The final rankings will take into account the eight best results.

The top 15 riders of the EnduroGP Category the preceding year are not allowed to take part.
