Results from the final 2023 Borilli European Enduro Championship round of the season where consistency paid off for French rider David Abgrall who claims the overall title in Kielce, Poland.

It might “only” have been a fourth place result for David Abgrall on day one of the weekend’s racing in the European Enduro series, but it was enough to seal the overall title for 2023 for the Frenchman.

Consistency helped Abgrall, who never claimed a scratch result all season, to snatch the title with one day of racing still to go in sunny and dry conditions in Kielce.

Overall winner on day one was former champion Krystof Kouble who took an “almost perfect” set of test results for the best scratch time ahead of Alex Walton and 2022 champion, Erik Willems.

With second overall and in class, Alex Walton nailed a strong season in this series to take the European Championship crown for E2 one day early also.

He wasn’t alone, Andreas Beier signed off day one with championship success in the E1 too. The German rider also took the title a day early by triumphing over Aleksander Bracik and Alessandro Di Gregorio.

Day 2

As with day one, the overall results played out exactly the same for the top two positions with Krystof Kouble laying down the best scratch time ahead of Alex Walton with Dietger Damiaens closing the overall podium.

In the Youth class the games were resolved in favour of Luca Colorio; the young Italian triumphed today in front of Davide Mei and it is Colorio who claims that ’23 crown ahead of Romain Dagna riding with a broken hand.

In the Junior 1 class Riccardo Fabris signed of the perfect season collecting the eighth victory of the season again ahead of Dawid Babicz, second on the day and second overall for the season and Herman Ask in third place. As for the Junior 2 class to triumph was Matyas Chlum, who relegated Diego Haution to second place and new Junior 2 European champion Lucas Bergstroem to third place. The championship ranking is therefore composed as follows: Lucas Bergstroem, Matyas Chlum and Matej Skuta.

In E1 Alessandro Di Gregorio took home the first victory of the year, triumphing against home driver Aleksander Bracik and German Patrick Irmscher. The E1 title however goes to Andreas Beier from Aleksander Bracik while Di Gregorio closes the championship in third place.

Overall winner Krystof Kouble also won E2 ahead of new champion Alex Walton and Erik Willems. Walton had already won the championship yesterday but Killian Irigoyen and Yann Dupic were still fighting for the remaining podium positions and in the end Irigoyen finished second while Dupic third.

In E3 Damiaens took the last win of the year ahead of overall 2023 champion David Abgrall and the Hungarian Roland Liska. Overall in E3 class Abgrall wins ahead of Damiaens and Roberto Da Canal.

In the Senior class Maurizio Micheluz completed a perfect season to claim his 13th European title. Second position goes to Nico Rambow and third for Andre Decker on the day and overall for the season.
