The 2025 British Extreme Enduro Championship calendar has been updated (again) as WOR Events pull out following anti-social behaviour.

The breeding ground for many of the world’s best talent in the sport of hard enduro, the ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship, has lost one of the five rounds in 2025 with WOR Events pulling out following anti-social behaviour at round one.

The championship, won by Junior World Champion Mitch Brightmore in 2024, runs from January to June, and heads to some established and classic extreme enduro venues in the UK. What it can’t do is convince enough of the many event organisers in the UK that it is a worthy cause.

Adding to the perennial games UK event organisers play over the British Championship, and following the opening round on January 26, the Ballbreaker Extreme, the scheduled third round Tough One’s Little Brother has been withdrawn from the calendar.

An update from the championship explains:

“Sadly the WOR TOLB will not now be around of the ACU British Extreme championship.

Having witnessed and been on the receiving end of some antisocial and aggressive behaviour at the Ballbreaker, Steve (Ireland, WOR Events boss) made the difficult decision not to be part of the championship as he couldn't risk that kind of behaviour happening at his event.

Whilst very disappointed we fully understand and support his decision, we cannot tolerate smoking of cannabis, riding in the paddock without helmets, children on pillion, aggressive and abusive behaviour! Action will be taken!

On a positive note, we are working hard to find another venue to replace this event.”

As it stands at the end of January 2025, the four-round British Extreme series switches between different, experienced event organisers – RAW Enduro, Will Hoare Off Road, Dirt Bike Action and RAW Enduro again. Although it is sad to see the iconic Nantmawr quarry venue not on the list (as brutal as it can be!) here‘s hoping a fifth round is still possible.

That said, given the riding talent pool, rider and spectator support across Britain, this adds to the year-on-year confusion around the British Extreme Enduro Championship, diluting what should be one of the premier hard enduro championships in the world.

2025 British Extreme Enduro calendar:

Round 1 - Ball Breaker Extreme, Hapton - RAW Enduro - 26th January

Round 2 - Wild Willy’s Extreme, Tong - WH Offroad - 16th February

Round 3 - Mini Ravines, Helmsley - Dirt Bike Action - 6th April

Round 4 - Summit Extreme, Hapton - RAW Enduro - 29th June
