Wade Young joins Brother Leader Tread KTM Enduro Team in South Africa and looks set for a move to Italian Rigo Racing team in Hard Enduro World Championship.

2026 is a year of moving and shaking across the world of enduro, in all disciplines. Among that moving and shaking in hard enduro is Wade Young who will wear two to colours of two teams this season both on home soil in South African and in the Hard Enduro World Championship and major events like Erzbergrodeo and Romaniacs where he is a former winner.

Perhaps the headline act here is the change back to orange as young forms part of the two-man team in the Brother Leader Tread KTM Enduro Team in South Africa along with Matthew Stevens.

Matthew lines up in E1 alongside Wade in E2 and they made a winning start to the SA National Enduro season with Stevens taking the win in class while a tyre issue cost Young a better result as he traded extreme enduro for timed tests.

The team will also contest the major South African Hard Enduro races also like the IMPI and Roof of Africa and that’s where the multi-time Roof winner Wade Young comes to the fore on the Brother Leader tread 300 EXC.

Young is also expected to the Italian Rigo Racing Team on the world stage. Though not confirmed officially, the move makes sense given the success of this Italian team and notably with South Arican riders including Junior World Championship titles with Matt Green and James Moore last season.

With Moore moving to Beta in 2026, and Green currently making waves across the Atlantic in the US Hard Enduro series, the Rigo Racing team would make a perfect new home for Young who has arguably lacked proper support at the races for a couple of seasons now.
