Time to get on the International Six Days Enduro case as pre-registrations officially open for the 2022 ISDE in Le Puy en Velay, France as the FIM reveals course details and event scheduling for the ‘Olympics of Enduro’.

The 2022 ISDE is officially open for business as the registration process begins all through March for riders and teams wishing to take part. The time is now to get in touch with your respective national federation to pre-register for the event which will be held from August – note this part of the registration process closes on March 31, 2022.

Daily course details revealed

With the pre-reg opening, the FIM has also confirmed the daily route details already put in place by the French organisers. And it looks like a French classic:

• An average altitude of 1000 metres, rising to 1400m at its highest points will be a challenging element of this year’s ISDE.
• The course incorporates 13 different special tests – with five tests used per day, along with five-time checks and service areas.
• Some service areas will be repeated, with a maximum of three different ones being used on any one day to help reduce logistical costs for the teams.
• Opening cermony in Le Puy fomr 8pm on Saturday August 27.

• Official training on circuit Eycenac enduro test from Wednesday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm
  plus Sunday from 9am to 12pm.

The paddock and location for the final cross test is planned just west of Le Puy on the local airport (Le Puy – Lourdes airport), much like the 2021 ISDE paddock was located in Italy.

The daily schedule begins with first rider departure at 7:30am and last rider around 11am. Return of the first riders to the paddock from 3:30pm with mechanical sessions from 3:30pm to 7pm. Paddock animations and fan zone open from 5pm

Organisers say the timetable for the passage of the riders in the tests and at the time controls will be communicated mid-July.

Daily routes pan out the paddock with days 1+2 heading west in the Haute Loire, Haut Allier and Gevaudin regions:

The 96th edition of the ISDE looks like being a storming one high demand for accommodation already in the area. The home nation are expected to be joined again by the Australia, Great Britain as well as title holders Italy, Spain and the USA.

As per previous editions, a full range of racing services from the major manufactures and other parties will be available with some already confirmed.
