2023 SuperEnduro results from the final round in Budapest where Billy Bolt completed another perfect night to claim the 2023 FIM World Championship in Gliwice, Poland.

2023 SuperEnduro GP of Poland II in a nutshell:

• True to form Billy Bolt was fastest through the practice sessions and backed it up with the quickest time in Superpole – taking a full-house (five rounds, five Superpole wins) for the season. Jonny Walker was second with Cooper Abbott getting the better of national hero Taddy Blazusiak for third.
• The Gliwice Arena track was well-built as always from the Polish organisers but had a complex layout that took some learning. One tricky, tight rock turn and a single line sand section complicated to the mix.
• 14 riders lined up into the Prestige races tonight for a full grid and it was Bill Dog who grabbed the lead from the start and go on to take the win, sealing the world championship in typical style (despite a mid-race crash).
• With Jonny Walker assuming his by now normal position as Bill’s closest challenger in P2, the real battle tonight was for third in the championship between Taddy Blazusiak with the crowd well behind him and Cody Webb. It was intense but Taddy just grabbed it in heat one.
• Pressure on or off Billy was in the same mindset for moto two, taking the lead from the second row start within a lap and going on to run a clear winner.
• Blazusiak and Webb meanwhile were at it hammer and tongues with Taddy holding the advantage for much of the heat. But Cody was relentless and after a mistake for Taddy, hard work paid off for the Sherco rider who took second place ahead of Walker and Blazusiak fourth.
• Moto three was classic SuperEnduro and typical Taddy on home soil with a determined ride battling right to the end to take P2 in the race and with that settle the score for third overall in the ’23 championship.
• It was hard not to feel bad for Cody Webb but luck, again, didn’t fall his way and he took fourth overall in the series. 
• Jonny Walker was third in the final race of the year and claims a deserved second in the championship running his own Beta team let’s not forget among these factory boys. The final race winner? Go on, guess. Clue: he’s won every race all season except one...

SuperEnduro Junior class in a nutshell:

• With the Junior world title on the line, it was the younger Brightmore brother Ashton who set the fastest time in practice and a benchmark for his rivals.
• Nothing short of carnage at the start of Junior heat one saw all the leading contenders go down. Richard Moorhouse initially led but Mitch Brightmore was quickest up off the deck to close in on his compatriot for the lead. A mistake-free race from then on saw championship leader take a nerve-settling win. 
• Junior World Championship is it? We had an 18 and a 16-year-old fighting for the Junior world title here...
• Milan Schmueser took an untroubled second moto win after negotiating the first lap carnage. It kept the title race alive down to the final moto but with Mitch second, the champion elect just needed to keep his nose clean in that final race.
• Noses are never too clean in the Juniors but second place for Mitchell Brightmore was clean enough for the 2023 FIM SuperEnduro Junior World Championship.
• His younger brother Ash took the moto win and claims second overall in the title chase, how nuts is that at this level that the wone-two in a title race goes to the same house?
• Third in that final moto went to Milan Schmueser who claimed the overall GP win as consolation prize.
