Former FIM SuperEnduro World Champion and multiple AMA EnduroCross title holder Cody Webb will race for Sherco in the 2022 indoor season beginning this December in Poland.

“I’m gonna be there” confirmed Cody Webb to Enduro21 as we begged the question; was he coming across the pond to race the 2022 SuperEnduro World Championship?

The definite reply means a welcome return to the indoor world championship for Cody who will line-up alongside Billy Bolt, Taddy Blazusiak, Manuel Lettenbichler, Jonny Walker et al for round one in Poland, this December 4.

With a similar deal to that which brought him across to the 2021 Red Bull Romaniacs, the Sherco Racing factory in France will partner up with Sherco USA to bring Cody to the start gates across the five-round series. It will also add a new flavour to the series with Sherco entering a serious contender for the indoor world title.

The bike is “on point”

Webb returned to action last weekend for a double-header finale to the full 2021 EnduroCross season. A wrist injury kept him away from competing the full EX season but the three-time champ returned in some style by taking the overall win across two nights in Denver, beating new champ Colton Haaker.

The extended time off the bikes and on the back of the learning year in 2020, Sherco USA and Cody have nailed the bike set-up which Cody labels “on point”.

A new engine tuned by RaceTech inside the 300 SEF Racing 4T Sherco looked and sounded crisp around the Denver track and both Cody and Sherco USA say they are “super happy” with it.

Cody’s bikes are understood to be in the process of shipping across the Atlantic to France and Sherco HQ this week.
