Organisers of the Weston Beach Race, RHL Activities, and local North Somerset Council have announced the 2021 race has been given the go-ahead for it's 38th edition on October 1-3.

One of the world’s biggest off-road motorcycle events had to sit out 2020 like so many others due to restricitons. The event last ran in 2019 and is famous for the volume of riders across the weekend, the seven-kilometre course and its infamous sections like aht egiant sand mountains and flat-out two kilometre straight. In recent years it has attracted Billy Bolt and Jonny Walker with David Knight also a former winner.

RHL Activities have confirmed the rider entry system is now live on their RHL website, www.rhlactivities.com with a limited number of spectator tickets also available working within current Covid restrictions.

Mark Canniford of North Somerset Council said: “After such a difficult year for the events industry, we’re delighted to see the beach race returning for its 38th year.”

Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities adds: “It’s been a long wait; however, we are in final preparation for the Weston Beach Race celebrating its 38th year. As you can imagine with the pandemic, a lot of preparation has gone into getting the go ahead for the event by my team and I would like to thank North Somerset Council for their continued support.”

More announcements around the event will be made in the coming weeks. More information: www.rhlactivities.com
