Video highlights and results from 2024 Italian “Assoluti” Enduro Championship Round 7-8 in Pistoia where Brad Freeman wins from Andrea Verona to heat up the title chase.

All eyes are on the three riders battling for the 2024 Italiano Assoluti Enduro Championship at rounds seven and eight, the penultimate weekend of racing this season. Andrea Verona (GASGAS), leads the standings from Steve Holcombe (Honda) and Brad Freeman (Beta) with everything to play for in Pistoia.

Freeman, who won Friday’s prologue, is looking to replicate his victory in the overall standings, just like in the previous round. The special test times leave no doubt—Freeman pulled away from his rivals during the day and remained untouchable.

Behind him, Verona and Holcombe were locked in a battle for second place, trading positions with each test. Matteo Cavallo (TM) entered the party in Enduro Test 3 to shake-up the duel, dropping Holcombe out of the top three – but not for long as the RedMoto rider recovers the bronze position, while Verona gains some breathing room.

In Enduro Test 4, Holcombe makes a mistake to drop down again and despite trying on the final special, Cavallo defends his position, securing the day's bronze. Brad Freeman takes the overall victory with Verona in second.

The net result means Verona retains his championship lead, but Freeman is closing in, now just four points behind and hungry to snatch the gold. Holcombe drops down a spot to third but everything is to play for on Sunday.
