KTM unveils their race-focused 2021 50 SX Factory Edition for the youngest riders that seek the same advantages found in the full-size bikes from the Austrian manufacturer.

Presented during the opening ceremonies of the 2020 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at the famous Loretta Lynn Ranch the past weekend, KTM has made it clear that they also look after their youngest riders with their new 2021 50 SX Factory Edition.

Based on the standard KTM 50 SX, the Factory Edition gets a bunch of upgrades to enhance its capabilities. The full exhaust system is replaced by an FMF pipe and silencer combo, ignition and clutch get CNC machined aluminium covers and traction is improved with Dunlop Geomax MX 53 tyres.

Engine internals have also been looked at with a reworked jetting to get the maximum out of the little two-stroke engine and the clutch has a different configuration than standard.

KTM 50 SX FACTORY Edition highlights:

  • FMF pipe
  • FMF silencer
  • Blue grippier seat
  • Smaller rear sprocket
  • CNC clutch cover
  • CNC ignition cover
  • Reworked jetting
  • Special clutch configuration
  • Special FACTORY EDITION graphics
  • Gray grips
  • New chain guide
  • Dunlop Geomax MX 53 tires

The smallest Factory bike from the range also matches her bigger sisters looks with the factory edition graphics and the blue grippier seat, making it the most “ready to race 50cc machine on the starting gate” says KTM.

The 50 SX Factory Edition will be available from October 2020 onwards at your local KTM dealers so if you are looking to put a massive smile on your kid’s face it might be worth checking.
