Beta Motorcycles have announced all-new 50cc two-stroke Enduro models to deliver “racing attitude” to a new, post-pandemic generation – both Sport and higher-spec Racing versions are available for street and off-road.

Beta know the 50cc motorcycle market is an important one, it has fed generations of riders who’ve grown up to ride and enjoy bikes as a life passion. They also point out the latest generation of young riders have taken to two-wheels in greater numbers most recently due to the pandemic – who wants to sit on a bus or train to get to college now, right?

They are answering this new wave with new models, Enduro and Motard, which will come in standard RR plus Sport and upgraded Racing versions giving options for street and genuine off-road Beta claim.

The new RR 50s feature a new chassis, a Euro 5 compliant engine, and plastics design inspired by the bigger RR Enduro models as ridden by Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman in the EnduroGP World Championship.

RR 50 ENDURO technical highlights:

Inspired by its bigger siblings, the RR 50 Enduro “is born to face all kinds of terrain, from free-time practice to daily commuting.”

  • New gearshift mechanism in the six-speed gearbox with new forged fork for precise clutch use
  • New gas vapor recovery system as per Euro 5 regulations
  • New air filter box is an integral part of the vehicle design developed to reduce noise and with a quick-release system for an easier maintenance – just as the racing models

CHASSIS

  • New chassis with a revised geometry, for better handling and improved agility
  • New design tank, plastics (headlight, fenders and side panels) and saddle mimic the pure racing style inspired by the bigger RR 2T/4T

Racing models get the upgrades

As mentioned already, the new RR 50 models come in Sport and Racing versions (Sport and Track in the Motard model). The Racing model is aimed at a more sport-oriented rider and fits right into the family of race bikes further along the RR range.

Like the bigger capacity siblings, the Racing version features a clear fuel tank, red powder-coated frame, has upgraded suspension, stronger front brake, twin-sided radiators (single on the standard version) and dispenses with the separate oil mixer found on the Sport model (requires premixed fuel).
