CFMOTO enters the European market in collaboration with Pierer Mobility AG with two new electric motorcycle models for children, the CX-5E and CX-2E, bikes designed to introduce young riders to off-road.

The Asian-origin brand CFMOTO, in association with Pierer Mobility AG (parent company of well-known brands like KTM, Husqvarna, GASGAS, and MV Augusta), has launched these new electric motorcycle models for children in Europe. The two models, CX-5E and CX-2E, are designed to help young riders take their first steps into off-road riding.

Key Features

• Eco-friendly Off-road Vehicles: These models mark a significant step towards sustainable and environmentally friendly off-road vehicles. They are equipped with 48V BLDC electric motors and high-capacity lithium-ion batteries.
• Battery and Range:
  • Both models have 48V24Ah 1152Wh batteries ensuring long riding sessions without frequent recharges.
  • The batteries are IP66 rated, offering durability against dust and water.
  • The CX-5E has a range of up to 60 km, and the CX-2E can go up to 78 km under ideal conditions. Both models offer up to 30 minutes of fun at maximum speed.
  • The batteries can be quickly swapped out using a simple quick-release screw mechanism, with a full charge taking about 6 hours.
• Adjustable Power:
  • The CX-2E features a 48V-BLDC motor with a maximum power of 1.2 kW and 6.4 Nm torque, suitable for riders aged 4 to 7. It accelerates from 0 to 20 km/h in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 24 km/h.
  • The CX-5E, designed for riders aged 8 to 12, has a more powerful 48V-BLDC motor with 1.5 kW power and 7 Nm torque. It accelerates from 0 to 20 km/h in 2.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 44 km/h.
  • Both models offer three riding modes, allowing parents to adjust the speed to match their children's skill levels.
• Ergonomics for Kids:
  • The handlebars, seat, and footpegs are ergonomically designed for a natural and comfortable riding posture for kids.
  • The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to monitor and manage the bike's performance, including battery consumption, charge levels, and gear settings on a single screen.
