Enduro21 takes a closer look at the three Honda CRF RX Enduro weapons about to be unleashed on the 2021 Italian Enduro Championship by the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team.

After a busy off-season and some quality testing time in the Sicilian enduro playground favoured by at least some of the Italian-based EnduroGP teams, the official Honda team in the World Championship heads to Passirano for round one of the 2021 Italiano Enduro series.

The domestic Italian championship attracts many of the top riders from World Enduro and, given the late start date to EnduroGP this season, will act as race preparation and a form guide.

Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team’s three-rider line-up for 2021 includes nine-time Italian Champion, Thomas Oldrati who makes his debut on the mighty CRF450RX and E2 class in the world championship this year. After so many years in E1, it's a big change for Thomas who in fact has undergone hand surgery recently and will not race the opening Italian round but expects to be back soon.

The two younger riders in the team are Frenchman Theo Espinasse who is new to the Honda squad and the Finnish rider Roni Kytonen back for his second season. Both will race the CRF250RX Enduro model with 2020 vice Junior World Champion Espinasse in the E1 class. Kytonen meanwhile will compete in the Junior class after winning the Enduro Junior1 title in 2020 and finishing third overall in the Juniors.
