A bit of bling to brighten up your midweek in the shape of the 2025 KTM 450 and 250 SX-F Factory Editions as the Austrian manufacturer diverts the headlines with even more special edition models.

The Austrian manufacturer may be in the headlines for other reasons right now but the bikes are out there in the dealers and the racing programme continues – carry on as you were for now it seems. 

Wearing the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics marks the 2025 SX-F Factory Editions out from the standard bikes, even if not the previous year models.

The 2025 ‘Factory Edition’ line-up already includes a Johnny Girroir 350 XC-F and a Trystan Hart 300 XC-W Hard Enduro, the 300 EXC and XC-W Hard Enduro Editions, Champions Edition EXC and F models and of course the Six Days off-road models.  We hope you are keeping up (and that the production lines in Mattighofen are keeping up).

The ’25 SX-F special editions – a 250 and 450 though that varies depending on which country you live in – carries the latest graphics for the new season and with choices between #4 (Sexton) #7 (Plessinger) or #1 (Vialle) for the two models respectively.

These Pro-replica look models come with a higher price tag and 20 Power Parts additions compared to the standard SX-F machines including an Akrapovič slip-on muffler with different EMS setting, quickshifter, traction control and launch control, a Connectivity Unit, larger footrests, and premium components like Brembo clutch and brakes, DID wheels, Neken handlebar technology, Dunlop GeoMax MX34 tires and more.

The chassis has the same spec, fully adjustable WP XACT, 48mm AER split air forks and 300mm dual compression control tool-free rear shock though and not upgraded components.

The 2025 KTM SX-F Factory Editions will “roll off the Austrian production line soon” KTM say….

In theory that means they will be available from authorised KTM Dealers from early 2025 but, err, with production lines put on hold or running reduced hours maybe it would be wise to keep in touch with your local dealer about this one.
