It’s been a positive year for Galfer who can look back upon a bumper year of racing championship titles as well as an increase in global sales despite the Covid pandemic plus their KTM Group collaboration increasing with new GASGAS range.

Galfer riders Toni Bou, Andrea Locatelli, Steve Holcombe, Brad Freeman and Emma Bristow were all crowned world champions in their respective categories bringing the Spanish brake manufacturer a hugely successful 2020 season.

They ended the 2020 season celebrating 12 World, one European and 12 national championship titles divided between Spain (six), Italy (five) and France (one) across Enduro, Trials, Motocross, Road Racing and Flat Track disciplines.

Industrias Galfer. S.A. will also end 2020 with a 15% higher turnover compared to the previous year, despite having been forced to close its facilities in March due to the general lockdown in Spain.

Since then, Galfer has expanded its production activity in line with the increase in sales. Hiring new employees, extending work shifts and acquiring new machines has ensured that the brand could successfully accommodate the increase in demand.

Further news comes from the extension of the collaboration with the KTM Group who they continuing to supply brake discs for all KTM, Husqvarna the entire new GASGAS range, a brand that was recently acquired by the group.

In addition, on a sporting level, 2020 will also be a year to remember for Galfer, winning its second consecutive Supersport 600 World Championship with Andrea Locatelli and the world championship double for Toni Bou in X-Trial and TrialGP, among other achievements.

Despite the pandemic, Galfer says 2020 will end on a very positive note, both in terms of sales and internationally in terms of brand awareness and confirmation of being synonymous with reliability, cutting-edge technology, and high-quality products with premium performance.
