First look: 2026 Leatt 5.5 Moto Gear Range
Leatt Motorsports announces the all-new, 2026 5.5 Moto off-road rider clothing range, “the lightest, most advanced race gear Leatt has ever produced”.
The new 5.5 Moto gear from Leatt has undergone a reboot for the 2026 season and promises “every seam, panel, and feature” has been designed to give riders the edge, whether on the track or in the desert – “it’s not just lighter, it’s smarter, cooler, and tougher”, Leatt tell us.
Ultra-Light. Race-Ready. Built to Breathe.
Leatt add the 5.5 Moto gear is designed from the ground up for one thing: speed. A refined 360° stretch race fit delivers a second skin feel, while aerodynamic seamless panels slice through the air.
Airflow is managed by more than 566 precision, laser-cut perforations keeping the rider cool in the heat, with mesh fabrics treated to enhance cooling.
Comfort & Mobility
With virtually seamless panels finished in taped edges for durability, and a minimal 3D-panel construction, the 5.5 Moto gear is designed to eliminate chafing, bunching, and drag while riding.
The “Twisted Yarn” micro mesh shell and ergonomic 3D design means maximum flexibility and a claimed 47.5% less weight than previous models without sacrificing that durability.
Leatt’s Hypalon Belt System also guarantees a solid waist fit for different sized humans and the knee areas are tailored for knee braces, with added protection against wear on inside panels and “next-level durability” on the pants outer areas to maintain protection inside and out.
Enduro gear line? Coming soon
Sneak peek at the upcoming wider range including enduro and new set of boots, spotted here on the feet of Jonny Walker. We’ll have more details on these in a few weeks.
This new Moto apparel is also PFAS free and uses the latest standard of eco-conscious DWR coating to repel dirt, water, and prevent stains. The gear also arrives in plastic-free, fully recyclable packaging.
