Sherco have announced a meaningful addition to their enduro model parts catalogue for 2021, an adjustable suspension linkage kit which allows you to change handling characteristics as well as seat height.

Sherco say the new Factory adjustable suspension linkage system has been developed to give riders who are into different enduro and off-road disciplines more options to “vary the progressiveness of the rear suspension”, as well as adjust the seat height.

Small adjustments to the linkage ratio of your rear suspension affect how the bike handles, basically making a bike either more stable for fast riding and/or improve the control and feel in turns.

Sherco adjustable suspension linkage highlights:

  • Varies the saddle height from ± 0 to 3cm
  • The link includes improved needle bearings and O-rings (different from the original part)
  • Machined from a billet of 6082 T6 aluminum

The part is sold as a kit with a pair of 0mm inserts (standard) plus inserts to provide six additional positions (parts SZ1, SZ2 and SZ3). The linkage adjustment is from +1 to -1mm (SZ1) / +2 to -2mm (SZ2) / +3 to -3mm (SZ3).

Sherco also produce a lower seat option which they say is for shorter riders but equally can be good if hard and extreme enduro is your thing to get the extra leg room. The FACTORY Selle Dalla Valle low saddle reduces the overall height of the motorcycle by up to 5cm (in addition to the linkage system changes).
