Italian specialists Acerbis revive classic off-road body protection range with new Linear Roost Deflector.

Italian specialists Acerbis are so closely associated with enduro it’s hard to think of rivals who’ve been there from the start of our sport and are still going as strong.

2024 begins with what they call a “revival” of a classic body protection product from its line-up: the Linear Roost Deflector. Basically it amounts to new colours including an iridescent option that expands the range to 12 options of the robust, polypropylene roost deflector.

Constructed in sections and pre-curved rubber straps, this chest protector is designed to conform to a rider’s posture for comfort while riding. The Linear Roost Deflector boasts a tough and light weight design, tailored for riders standing between 165 and 190cm in height and is certified with stone shield homologation EN 14021:2003.

Areas of the front and rear (shown above) plates are devoted to ventilation, shoulder straps made of soft rubber, adjustable elasticated bands at the waist secured with plastic clip.

The shoulder straps are bonded directly on the chest protector during assembly which they say avoids annoying seams, improves strength and integrates top-tier chest and back protection.
