Beta Factory answer the call with a new upgrade shock absorber for all XTrainer models – greater oil and air volume plus full adjustable unit added to their parts catalogue.

Beta XTrainer owners have long called for more options for the popular model’s original equipment suspension – re-valving or replacing the stock parts is a common upgrade as Enduro21 learned when we tested the stock 300 model earleir this year.

Beta has finally acknowledged this by adding a new, fully adjustable 52mm Sachs rear shock to the accessories catalogue which they claim offers “better support, consistent performance and progressive response”.

The new shock, like most the parts in the accessories range, has been developed by Betamotor technicians, and boasts greater volume of oil and air, plus for the first time on the XTrainer, has adjustable high and low-speed compression, separate rebound and preload adjusters.

Beta say the new 52mm diameter shock (compared to 42mm with the original part) improves overall strength and durability and is designed to work with the recently launched XTrainer fork upgrade kit to improve the handling of the bike in all conditions without losing the overall user-friendly feel of the XTrainer.

Fitment is for all XTrainer 250/300 models from 2015-2022 and the shock is available from Beta dealers now. Enduro21 doesn’t currently have a price from Beta.
