The German Hard Enduro Series season is back on track this October for a six-round calendar set to conclude in May 2021.

It’s been a tough year for riders in Germany with strict government rules regarding Coronavirus affecting most competitions all season – this in a country which finds off-road sport already restricted.

But things are on the move this month of October with the new season adopting a winter feel to it as it runs until May 2021.

HESG Calendar 2020/2021:

October 10 Reetzer Hardenduro

October 24 Tenneco Extreme Enduro, Neuhaus-Schierschnitz

October 31 Isegrim Enduro, Schwepnitz

March 21 (2021) Weinberg Enduro, Hamma

April 17 (2021) Hardenduro im Hexenkessel Reisersberg

May 21 (2021) Heaven or Hell Xtreme Enduro, Crimmitschau

HESG’s Denis Günther says many things have had to change in 2020. “In normal times the entries always start two months before the respective race date.” Explains Günther. “Due to the still unclear situation, however, this is not possible. Like everyone else, we have to drive by sight and try to make everything as short time as possible. Nevertheless, the preparation time should be sufficient, as we now have a certain routine in the process.”

Due to the circumstances, there are some changes in the race schedule and only 100 starting places are available and the online entry is initially only open to registered riders of the series. Should there still be enough places available seven days before the closing date for entries, registration for guests will still be possible.

In the meantime, the event has also been approved by the authorities and spectators are also allowed to visit the track with reservation. The registration for spectators is handled by a ticket system, the link will also be published in the series website and social in the next few days.
