2025 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) day four official results from Bergamo where Andrea Verona claims the day win – relegating Garcia for the first time since 2023 – to extend his World Trophy team’s lead over Sweden who jump into second.

Day four at the 2025 International Six Days Enduro brought more spectacular scenery in the Bergamasche region, and a mix of new and used tests in green mountain pastures and forests.

The story of the day is Andrea Verona’s claim to take a win away from Josep Garcia who finished with a finger injury. The GASGAS rider’s result helpd extend Team Italy’s grasp on the World Trophy with one full day of tests to go tomorrow.

Overall, it was super-close day on the time sheets, even by these standards, and one which saw Junior riders Alberto Elgari and Leo Joyon disrupt the Verona and Garcia battle to top the charts.

Italian’s eye-up 2025 ISDE World Trophy

With all four riders in the top 12 overall, Italy’s World Trophy team have staked a claim for the main award. We think we can say that already after day four. Verona, Bernadini, Lesiardo and Morettini extend the lead to six minutes with another impressive collective result.

Taking over second place in the WT category, Sweden saw Mikael Persson and Albin Norrbin taking top five scratch results to boost themselves ahead of France by 20 seconds – more consistency earlier in the week and these boys could have challenged Italy closer. Spain are over four minutes adrift in fourth and a minute clear of USA fifth.

Victory for Verona is a rare loss for Garcia

Three tests wins on the bounce gave Andrea Verona a seven second advantage over his long-term rival Josep Garcia at the start of day four. Could it be Garcia’s win streak was coming to an end?

Test four arrived and, despite carrying a hand injury, the Spaniard banged in a six seconds faster time and it was game on.

But in a final flurry in front of a rowdy crowd at the last test, Andrea went full gas for the fastest time and took the day win.

Talking afterwards, Verona explained it was about having more grip on corner exits compared to a day earlier where it was greener and he couldn’t get on the throttle. It is Verona’s first day win in two years and 12 days of racing (although he did go out with a mechanical last year).

For his part Josep won just one test all day having hit his hand in test two. The KTM rider went to hospital after exiting the parc ferme for 10 stitches in a right-hand finger.

Mikael Persson needs to keep doing what is doing with two days after a second day in a row now where he posted third scratchoverall. The Swede was followed home by the consistent Sameule Bernadini for Italy fourth and teammate Albin Norrbin completing the top five.

Juniors fastest outright

Test one of the day was a short, four-minute wake-up call for everyone and it showed immediately how close the Juniors are at this year’s ISDE. Five riders within 1.2 seconds set the tone for the day and tells the story.

Racing an all-Italian trio of bikes (TM and Fantic), Italy’s Juniors have edged a little breathing room today with a handful of very fast test times. That included Elgari’s overall test win and Kevin Cristino finishing best Junior with P8 scratch. It puts Italy nearly one minute to the good in JWT.

France also had a strong day but, like Australia in third, are looking at one very fast rider, in their case Leo Joyon, and not three like Italy have.

Kyron Bacon is the Australian Junior leading the team in third but they slip to a minute or so behind France after day four.

USA Women to ride day 5 with one hand on the bars?

“This a race for second now”, someone told us today about the Women’s Trophy. No shit! More than 30 minutes lead for Team USA means they can ride day five and six with one hand on the bars, never mind one hand on the trophy.

Behind them it is close between the Australian and French ladies though, with just one minute separating them. The way things have gone, and with rain predicted tomorrow and in the Cross Test on Friday, it could be we see some changes here.

Individually the USA lead duo were back on it today, chasing each other for the overall with Brandy Richards taking it by 10 seconds from Korie Steede. Day three’s fastest rider, Danielle Macdonald, remains their nearest challenger nearly 50 seconds back.

Club Trophy leaderboard

While Motocycle Club Italia A, the official federation club team, continue to lead the Club trophy category, the USA’s team Rabaconda jump into P2 with Italian BBM team third, just over one minute down but five minutes to the good.

Weather watch

Word of warning, rain is predicted for the next days so for all the results below don’t go counting any chickens just yet. Riders are on the same tests but if they’re wet they will be slick like the start of the week. With some tired bodies and minds it could cause some chaos.
