Justin Barcia to race the 2024 Weston Beach Race
Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s AMA Supercross and Motocross rider Justin Barcia confirmed to race the 2024 ROKiT Weston Beach Race on October the 11-13.
The annual festival of off-road on the South West coast of the United Kingdom that is the Weston Beach Race is well-known for attracting a headline act to bring in the crowds. In recent years, from our side of the off-road world at least, that has been Billy Bolt, Steve Holcombe and even Ronnie Mac.
Well-known also for its gruelling six mile course, the three-hour feature race will this year see Troy Lee GASGAS factory Supercross rider Justin Barcia line-up at the packed wire-fencing.
The American has been out of action for much of the 2024 AMA Motocross season due to injury but ahead of the Supercross series starting, will head to the Weston-Super-Mare. Barcia and his wife have family in the UK, so it should make a nice beach holiday…
Event director Gareth Hockey is naturally excited about the announcement: “Having such a tremendously talented and renowned figure like Justin Barcia on board will further heighten what a spectacle the 2024 race. We’re all looking forward to what will be a truly special event.”
