Due to the impact of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the FIM Bajas and Cross-Country Rallies 2021 calendar has been updated with a new race in Portugal and the Qatar Baja, previously scheduled for April 8-10, moving to later in the season.

The FIM, the Qatar Motor and Motorcycling Federation say due to the increased restrictions imposed in Qatar, the Qatar International Baja originally scheduled for April 8-10 is now postponed to a later date in 2021. Information regarding the new date will be communicated in due course but this comes at very short notice for anyone attending the race.

It’s not all bad news though. The Federaçao de Motociclismo de Portugal (FMP) and local organisers have agreed to add a new event to the calendar. The Baja do Oeste, in Torres Vedras, Portugal will take place from October 15-17.
