The organisers of the Africa Eco Race, the multi-stage Cross Country Rally through Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, have change to the 2022 event dates in a bid to get “back to normal”.

The team behind the event, led by Jean Louis Schlesser, say their aim is to get the event back to normal following issues and ultimately cancelation of the race due to the pandemic.

With the aim of guaranteeing safe protocol and conditions for all involved across the three African countries, the event will shift from its usual January date to later in the spring.

2022 Africa Eco Race dates:

March 11-12 – Technical checks in Southern France and boat departure to Morocco.

March 15-26 Arrival in Morocco and stage one of 12 (incl. rest day)

March 27 final stage along Lac Rose and podium ceremony.
