Results from the 2024 SuperEnduro World Championship round two in Poland where a measured Billy Bolt took the win, despite Jonny Walker sticking it to the man on a tough track in Krakow.

SuperEnduro Rnd2 in a nutshell:

  • A very different track greeted the Prestige, Junior and of this round European Championship riders at round two of the SuperEnduro season. It might have been deep snow outside the Tauron Arena but inside the dirt was soft, sandy and typical of the Polish organisers who will become the new world championship promoters at the end of this season.
  • One lap wasn’t too much of a problem on the technical track but ticking off the laps, holding on through the two rock sections, logs, tyres and the up-and-over bridge combination was a real recipe for arm pump and high heart rates.
  • Jonny Walker ripped a fast Superpole time and put it to the man, Billy Bolt, early on the night. But the points leader narrowly took it by just half a second to claim his 14th Superpole in a row, yes 14...
  • The results below show it was business as usual once the racing got underway but the truth is things were different tonight with Jonny really challenging Billy.
  • In moto one it was a case of hitting lines and making no mistakes for Bolt to keep Walker at bay for the first win of the night.
  • Behind them was a real fight once again between Poland’s hero this weekend, Dominik Olszowy, Mani Lettenbichler and Will Hoare. Like round one, Hoare kept on keeping on to pass through and take third, taking advantage of the others’ mistakes.
  • Walker’s form flowed into moto two and he was easily the fastest of the top riders through from the reverse grid start. Despite making some mistakes in the last lap, JW22 pulled a moto win off Bill, finally, after the champ looked cautious on the opening laps. Despite setting the fastest lap on the final lap, Bolt had to settle for P2 ahead of Hoare again third, getting the better of Polish fan’s favourite Olszowy who physically faded in the final laps.
  • Moto three brought the fastest laps of the night from the top two and a controlled performance from Bolt, despite pressure again from Walker. It showed a different side to Bolt who had the mature head to master this tough track yet manage the physicality of it to the final flag.
  • Walker matched his rival for three-quarters of the final race but faded in the final laps to secure P2 and P2 on the night. The result might be the same but it was the closest Bolt has been pushed in a good while.

  • Fourth behind Mani Lettenbichler in the final moto meant Will Hoare remains the third best rider in this championship to cement a second all-British podium in Prestige class this season.
  • In the Junior class we saw a largely mistake-free ride from Ashton Brightmore take a comfortable Junior class win. Like the top riders in the Prestige class, his 1-2-1 moto results came thanks to hitting marks and keeping it consistent.
  • Heat one saw points leader Suff Sella crash and set up a bad night for himself as he struggled on a more technical track than round one in France. Brightmore, Roland Liska and Suff Sella are the riders to watch here and each made mistakes in race two, traded places and paint at times.
  • Liska grabbed the second moto win on route to second overall for his best result with Sella third.
  • Maciej Wieckowski grabbed the first European final win but with second and then the victory in final two, veteran (can we call him that now?!) Xavi Leon claimed the overall for the night.
