Video highlights and results from the Mason-Dixon GNCC, round eight of the 2025 Grand National Cross Country season where Grant Davis took the lead of the championship with victory ahead of Ben Kelley.

Mud has been a feature of the GNCC series so far in 2025, and it was the same story in Pennsylvania with heavy rain falling on Friday afternoon, making for sloppy conditions during Sunday’s races.

It was a good weekend for the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team with the Landers side of the squad seeing Grant Davis earning his second-consecutive GNCC overall victory, leading home Ben Kelley XC1 Open Pro Class winner.

“I got off the a good start, entered the [XC2] lead fast, and then I pushed really hard to get to the back of the XC1 riders.” Said Davis. “I started to pick them off, and once I got behind Ben we started going through the field together. He made a small mistake, and I went for it, got into the lead and was able to hold onto it.”

Kelley was left to reflect on a mistake near the finish which cost him the win: “I’m a bit disappointed with that one. I didn’t get a great start and it took me a bit to get going. The track was hard and the XC2 riders were on us from the beginning, with Grant and I going back and forth a few times in the race. A quarter-mile from the finish line, I fell coming down the hill through some gnarly ruts, and it just stings to lose the overall by only a few seconds.”

The KTM pair are in a tussle for the series standings with Davis taking the lead on 177 points to Kelley’s 173. Landers KTM’s Angus Riordan was fourth on the day at Mason Dixon and sits in third in the points on 140.

Steward Baylor was in determined mood after a DNF last time out. With the Rocky Mountain Red Bear Kawasaki looking a bit second-hand at the finish, Steward brought it home in third overall and second in XC1 Pro.

“Battling for the lead was really fun out there. Tangling with the lapper just ended my charge. It’s tough because I know I was good enough to win today. The positive is that I am leaving healthy, so I’ll be back for another try at it,” said Baylor.
