Ducati have released a new teaser video of the new motocross 450 four-stroke machine in action in the hands of Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino ahead of their racing debut early in 2024.

Ducati’s announcement that their all-new single cylinder, 450cc off-road competition machine, will going to break cover as early as next January, 2024 comes on the back of sneak peaks at the bike and scant details earlier in ‘23.

Ducati confirm competition off-road models – enduro and rally bikes in 2025?

Ducati have said the new bike will arrive with some innovative components including potentially some clever valve control system as featured on so many of their bike range. No details are confirmed yet but we’re keen to learn more.

Our speculation is they will quickly move from development in motocross to enduro and naturally a 450 rally bike to tackle the Dakar which is seen by so many manufacturers as a giant marketing tool on the global stage.

In the meantime, have a skip through and press pause a few times to look at the bike as we wait until January and round one of the Italian Motocross Championship where the Ducati factory team will be officially unveiled and Alessandro Lupino will race the new bike.
