Pol Tarres has announced his new team, the Trece Racing, a squad born from the collaboration with Yamaha to race the 2021 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.

Trece Racing is Tarres’ privateer team backed by Yamaha as well as MotocrossCenter and Hebo Factory and give the Spanish rider a platform from which to continue his new adventures onboard the Ténéré 700 and also to compete in the new FIM Hard Enduro World Championship onboard a YZ 250 two-stroke.

In case you were wondering (or do not speak Spanish), Trece translates as 13 which has been Pol’s race number through much of his career – it also makes reference to the day the news landed, April 13.

Tarres was planning to launch his new team right before the SuperEnduro World Championship, but after its cancelation Pol has switched his focus to the new hard enduro series.

That said, we’ll see Pol’s racing debut with his team and the YZ 250 this weekend, April 17-18 at the opening round of the 2021 Spanish Enduro Championship in Sitges, north eastern Spain.
