The FIM and the motorcycling world joins the #inspireinclusion digital campaign on International Women’s day.

The FIM say they are committed to making motorcycling an open, inclusive and benevolent environment for all. That means developing sports and activities for women and showing them that they are supported by our extraordinary community of people.

The FIM stands for a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can all #InspireInclusion.

The FIM collaborated with the FIM family - riders, promoters, commissions, and people behind the scenes to produce some short video reels to show the world how inclusive the FIM is in all these areas. To show society that the FIM does care about inclusion.

The Values of the FIM were adopted by the General Assembly in 2008 and draw attention to the need for fairness and inclusion. The goal of this incentive is to work together with our riders and promoters from different disciplines, different countries and different continents. To show the entire FIM family that we do care about inclusion.

Janika Judeika, Director of FIM Women Commission: “The FIM Women’s commission is joining the International Women’s Day 2024 movement with hopes to #inspireinclusion within our community and beyond it. Outstanding athletes came together to share one message – motorcycling is a sport for everyone. I firmly believe that the sense of relevance and belonging we can give each other is empowering, inspiring and encouraging. Our commission is committed to inspiring inclusion through advancing women’s participation and achievement in sport.”

Jorge Viegas – FIM President: “This important initiative supports and reinforces the FIM’s ongoing and real commitment to making motorcycling in all its various forms, open and inclusive for all. Our FIM Women’s Commissions continues to work hard in this regard, and this year is being part of International Women’s Day by adding its own voice to the #inspireinclusion digital campaign with some empowering short videos created by members of the FIM family that represent the wide and varied roles that exist within motorcycling today.”
