No more slow fitment and bulky mounting options with the new Acerbis Linear disc cover, front brake protection for off-road motocycles boasting just 30 seconds to fit and ride away.

There’s no doubt front disc protectors are a very good idea in off-road. Enduro, hard enduro, trail riding or motocross riding throws up dangers to the vulnerable rotor down there at the front of our bikes – and a bent disc is a recipe for no front brake, ending a race or day’s riding.

The new Acerbis Linear disc cover doesn’t just answer that call but also the issue some protectors have in being a right, royal pain when removing the front wheel, changing brake pads or installing in the first place.

Compared to other fitment solutions out there, which sit on the left side spacer or bolt to the caliper or fork bottom, the Linear mounts on the outside of the fork leg by simply removing the wheel axle nut and takes just seconds to fit.

Something like this…

Designed and manufactured in Italy from polypropylene with a stainless steel insert, the new Linear disc cover design means protection without the heat build-up thanks to the  ventilation channels directing air to the caliper and braking surface.

Acerbis say the Linear protects the lower fork leg as well as the disc and caliper and is available in three variants compatible with discs up to 280mm in diameter. That means it will fit more or less any bike we can think of – Acerbis say Beta, Fantic, GASGAS, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Yamaha.
