After a nine week break the Dowatek Hard Enduro Series Germany reutrns this weekend with international riders heading to Bavaria including a return for former champ Leon Hentschel and Jordan Scott for the Wieczorek GP Team.

A tour of Bavaria fills the gap for some of the European-based hard enduro riders beginning this weekend in Reisersberg on July 15 followed by Gefrees on August 5 for rounds four and five of the ’23 HESG season.

A break in the international calendar has brought a few extra riders to the German series to challenge Milan Schmüser and Marc Wulf’s wins domination so far this season.

That includes the two-time champion Leon Hentschel returning after a long injury hiatus. He will be joined by Jordan Scott competing for the Saxony-based Wieczorek GP Team on a TM. The Northern Irishman took up the chance to race for the team in SuperEnduro last winter and returns to the super-enthusiastic Tony’s fold for this Reiserberg race.

Predict the winner?

That means there will be no clear favorite in Reisersberg organisers are predicting. Besides the current leader, Wulf who incidentally had a mechanical issue in Reisersberg last year, Lenny Geretzky, Felix Bähker, Fynn Hannemann, as well as Hentschel and Scott are among the top contenders for a daily victory. Sadly Schmüser won’t be in the reckoning after an Erzberg prologue crash sees him still injured.

The racing starts on Saturday at 8:30am with the Prolog Award.
