Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Racing rider Billy Bolt set the pace on the opening day’s SuperEnduro-style single lap shootout at Hixpania Hard Enduro 2021, round seven of the Hard Enduro World Championship. Jonny Walker and Dominik Olszowy complete the top three.

The seventh round of the 2021 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship started today, Friday, in Aguilar de Campoo with riders taking to the full course for some practice before hitting the Hixpania Village SuperEnduro track for a single lap qualification run.

The short and explosive qualification lap determines start order for the three lap Saturday qualification race on the main course (a more serious three laps of 54km around the dam at Aguilar de Campoo), which determines the start order for the main Sunday race – you following this?

SuperEnduro World Champion and HEWC points leader Billy Bolt was fastest on the sprint lap with a time of 49:27s, half a second faster than Jonny Walker with the previous round’s Polish hero Dominik Olszowy a further second back in third. Sherco’s duo of Wade Young and Mario Roman completed the top five positions.
