Fancy racing the final round of the 2022 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship? Entries open for the HEWC finale at Hixpania Hard Enduro in Spain.

Entries are open for the eighth and final round of the Hard Enduro World Championship, the 24MX Hixpania Hard Enduro set to bring the 2022 season to a close on October 7-9 in Aguilar de Campoo, Spain.

This sixth edition of the highlioght in the Spanish Hard Enduro calendar will see four categories open for different riding abilities: Knights Pro class, Archers experts, Squire for hobby class and a non-competitive option.

So if the main event might seem a bit daunting, race the hobby class and then kick back to watch the world championship conclusion unfold live as Mario Roman and Mani Lettenbichler shoot it out for the title.*

Hixpania Hard Enduro schedule:

Friday opens the proceedings with a night-time prologue through Aguilar de Campoo’s medieval main streets. Under floodlight, the best riders from all classes among the expected 350 competitors will go head-to-head in a series of qualifiers with the fastest battling it out for top honours in the final.

Day two brings riders out into the surrounding area with a course running around the outskirts of the nearby lake for a cross-country loop to be ridden three times. The pine forestry trails, river crossings, and lakeshore tracks mean a day of enduro for all classes as they pitch for a place in Sunday’s Lost Roads final.

The three-hour, multi-lap ACERBIS Lost Roads Hard Enduro is Sunday’s main event which will see the 2022 HEWC title claimed in the infamous Aguilar de Campoo quarry. It’s traditionally a tough course filled with rock gardens on the lake side (sometime inside the lake!), steep climbs, rock steps, and forestry descents.
