The FIM has announced the Polish-based agency SportUP as the new promoters of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship from the 2025 season onwards on a 10-year contract.

Using their extended stay over in the Liverpool this week, following the Awards Gala and during a General Assembly meeting, the FIM have announced a 10-year deal with SportUP to promote and drive forward the SuperEnduro World Championship.

The FIM offered thanks to ABC Communication, the current and long-standing promoter of the series, but since the series was put up for tenure it earleir this year, it looked increasingly like we would see a new set of hands on the helm of SuperEnduro.

Who are SportUP?

As organisers of the SuperEnduro rounds in Poland since 2016, they have pedigree as the team behind one of the best rounds of the season traditionally. That will again be the case this coming weekend (December 9) as the series hits Krakow for round two. 

SportUP’s director Tomasz Gagat is a rider and has some solid results in the past at events such as Romaniacs before moving to race and event organisation. They claim over 70 events across various pursuits including motorcycling, mountain biking and music, so are well equipped for the challenge that lays ahead of them.

That means SportUP are no strangers to where SuperEnduro is at and where it could go next. They say the plan is to take the series worldwide again with a programme of up to eight rounds each year using the foundations laid by ABC Communication and “from enhanced media coverage, a refreshed visual identification and increased live broadcast”.

SportUP say they will also launch of a new “SuperEnduro Academy” that aims to attract new riders to the discipline through online advice and actual training sessions with the best riders.

There is no doubt about the huge potential of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, and we have great trust that SportUP will use their experience from not only delivering good events in this sport but also other sports too to elevate the series to a new level and to take it to new audiences around the world both physically and via the improved coverage they will develop.”
