NEPG back in charge of AMA National Enduro
A change of heart from Alan and Melissa Randt following “overwhelming support” sees NEPG back in charge of the KENDA AMA National Enduro series.
After announcing they would be standing down at the end of the 2021 season, NEPG, the team behind the National Enduro series headed by the Randt family, has done a U-turn and agreed a new deal with the AMA.
“Goodwill and positive feedback from riders, teams and the industry have forced a rethink,” means Alan and Melissa Randt will continue as the AMA’s promoting partner for the KENDA AMA National Enduro Series.
Their statement released April 8, 2021, is a heart-warming one: Since the previous announcement that we would be stepping down from the NEPG at the end of the 2021 season, there has been overwhelming appreciation of the NEPG from riders, clubs, sponsors, manufacturers, and the AMA that has made us reconsider our decision.
We sincerely appreciate the faith the AMA had in us 15 years ago to promote the AMA National Enduro Series, and we have decided to continue with the NEPG into the future with additional help from other parties that will reduce our workload and let us manage our other ventures more effectively.
We can not express how humbled we are from all the heart felt responses that we have received since our previous announcement. We are very thankful for the support that has been offered going forward, that will allow us to help continue the growth of the series.
We would like to thank all of you again for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at the races.
Best Regards,
Alan & Melissa Randt
