First look: 2025 GASGAS MC-E 5 Kids Electric Dirt Bike
Water cooling and an all-new frame headline the 2025 updates on the GASGAS MC-E 5 electric dirt bike for kids – photo gallery and technical details.
GASGAS say their kids electric dirt bike model, the MC-E 5, electric dirt bike is “the coolest-looking bike in its category”. Surely the new bodywork and graphics aping the bigger GG models give it a presence bigger than its physical size, but we’ve got to admit it’s a pretty neat package – although there’s no getting away from the KTM SX-E and Husqvarna EE 5 versions looking just as good and also being an awesome first bike option for any youngster.
Apart from looking cool, the 2025 GASGAS MC-E 5 has a lot going for on with a new water-cooled motor for consistent performance and a new frame and WP shock position to improve handling.
The new water cooling system on the MC-E 5 seems like the biggest deal and will help keep the 5kW electric motor at more consistent temperature. That keeps the power delivery “optimised”, as they like to say, and also extended the battery running time by a claimed 30%.
The fast recharging of the battery takes around 45 mins for an 80% recharge or you have the option to buy a spare and to an easy swap for a fully charged one to keep riding.
The is all-new, 2025 frame is designed with more stability and “enjoyable riding experience” they say and it repositions the WP shock to improve handling. Front and rear suspension is adjustable.
Featuring the same style bodywork you’ll find on full size GG models, the MC-E 5 is a scaled down off-road bike with kid-friendly ergonomics. New graphics, feature a splash of blue to highlight its electric drive too.
Because the MC-E 5 makes no noise, it can be ridden almost anywhere and is widely adjustable to different riding experience levels and body size through six ride modes and seat height adjustment.
