Forcefield Body Armour release new for 2020 Pro XV AIR off road, protective base layer range.

Specialists in impact protection and high-performance clothing systems, Forcefield Body Armour have a new off road range for 2020. Including a shirt, pants and elbow/knee protection “tubes”, the Pro XV AIR range is a next-to-skin protective base layer that blends lightweight and high impact protection.

Fitted with high performance CE2-approved armour and a seamless, mesh construction constructed with BeCool fibre for improved breathability and moisture wicking, Forcefield claim the Pro XV AIR range is “the most protective, most breathable, and most comfortable armour garment we have manufactured.”

Pro Shirt XV 2 AIR

The new upper body protection features CE 2 “free fitting” back and chest inserts and the CE 2 Isolator arm protection. Forcefield claims their Dynamic Reactive Intelligent Materials mean the new base layers adapt to every rider’s body type. 

The seamless full mesh and the BeCool fibre are claimed to work together like a fan to extract the hot and wet air away from the body and replacing it with fresh air to maintain the body’s temperature in both hot and cold conditions.

Build also using the seamless full mesh and BeCool fabrics for improved breathability, the Pro Pant features a five-piece armour set for increased protection. As with the shirt the multi impact technology Isolator armour (hips, knees and buttocks/coccyx) is also constructed using Dynamic Reactive Intelligent Materials for an improved fitting. All are removeable.

Manufactured as a different protection option in the knee or elbow area, the Pro Tube uses the same materials as the other products from the range. Now with increased venting on the front and a better ventilated and softer rear area (behind knee or elbow), Forcefield claims you can hardly tell you are wearing them.
