2020 Sea to Sky results: Jarvis conquers the mountain
Results feed from the final day’s action at the 2020 Sea to Sky Enduro Hard Enduro where Graham Jarvis turned a classic performance to snatch the win as Billy Bolt and Mario Roman are sent off-course by old course marking.
Never underestimate the old dog Graham Jarvis. On the final and meaningful day’s racing at the 2020 Sea to Sky Hard Enduro in Turkey, the Rockstar Husqvarna rider turned the tables to take the day win after a typically "Jarvis style" performance on the tough Mountain course. Graham’s time of 2:28:15 leapfrogged the veteran into overall first place on accumulative time across the four days to take his sixth win at Sea to Sky.
“It was a great race today and I was lucky if I’m honest, especially after damaging the bike earlier in the event.” Said Jarvis. “I went into the Mountain Race about four minutes down on Billy and as all the top guys ended up riding together, I thought there was no chance for me today. Billy took a wrong turn and I managed to get out in front and for that last 20 minutes.”

Wade Young also put in a great ride behind Jarvis on day four to reach the top of the Olympos mountain second on the day and seal P2 for the second year in a row.
Billy Bolt had was on form throughout the 2020 edition of Sea to Sky. Winning the opening Beach Race, before topping both the subsequent Forest and Sky Races. Billy lead much of Saturday’s Mountain Race but track marking tape left from a previous running of the event sent him and Mario Roman in the wrong direction. Time lost cost Billy a potential winning result and a podium for Roman.
“Overall, it’s been a really good week here in Turkey.” Said Billy at the finish. “I’m really happy with my riding and know I had the pace to win every day. I had led 80 or 90 percent of the Mountain Race today and was first to reach this tricky hill – it seems they had left some route marking tape up from last year and so I followed it…by the time I had realised and turned back I had lost too much time.”
