Ride (and crash) POV onboard with Mario Roman on his winning ride at round two of the Spanish Hard Enduro Championship – check the race start fiasco as Teodor Kabakchiev gets giddy into turn one…

“Luckily, we were both okay,” says Mario following the first turn pile-up which dropped him down the order. Roman then had his own “private mini start” along with Kabakchiev and had positions to recover on the first lap. Watch as Mario takes some great lines over the rocks in La Rioja to find himself in the lead just six or so minutes into the race.

“From then on I just enjoyed and focused on myself and my bike.” Adds Roman who raced this event with the same Sherco 300 two-stroke he’ll ride throughout the 2021 Hard Enduro World Championship season and so treated the race as testing. “I had some valuable notes about what needs to be improved.” Concludes the race winner.
