The FIM and Hard Enduro World Championship promoters have announced a provisional 2024 HEWC calendar with eight rounds scheduled including a British round and a return to TKO.

Ahead of the remaining two rounds of the ’23 season, series promoters WESS GmbH have nailed down an eight rounds calendar for next season with six races already confirmed and two TBCs.

The 2024 series will again include a mixture of favourites including Erzbergrodeo and Romaniacs plus a return to the United States and a first ever competition in Wales (United Kingdom) as Enduro21 previewed already: Britain to host 2024 Hard Enduro World Championship round one at Valleys Xtreme

Billy’s homecoming

Having a home round can surely help and for the many riders competing in the major extreme and hard enduro races globally, the first FIM Hard Enduro World Championship to take place in the United Kingdom, will come as a welcome addition.

The Valleys Extreme has the honour of hosting round one of the season in early May – followed in August by the EnduroGP World Championship also coming to Wales plus, as if that’s not enough, the SuperEnduro World Championship will also visit Britain next March.

From there it’s off to the Erzbergrodeo for round two, from May 30 to June 2 followed by a shift later in the year for Xross as the series soaks up back-to-back GPS-style rounds of Hard Enduro Rallye in late June followed by Red Bull Romaniacs in July.

US fans will be pleased to note the series will make a welcome return to the Tennessee Knockout (TKO) for round five before heading back to Europe for round six and Italy’s Abestone on September 6-9.

The final two more rounds are yet to be confirmed however with Hixpania and Getzenrodeo races both being utilised this season and normally running on a two-yearly cycle, it is unclear which race will conclude the 2024 championship in mid-October.
